Hang Zhou is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (UW–Madison). He received his B.S. degree in Management Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2023, and his M.S. degree in Transportation Engineering from UW–Madison in 2025. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers in leading transportation journals and conferences, including Transportation Research Part B, C, and E. His research interests focus on automated vehicle control and evaluation, urban air mobility, and the application of artificial intelligence and optimization methods in intelligent transportation systems.
