Shixiao Liang joined the CATS Lab as a Ph.D. student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Fall 2023. He got a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Nankai University in 2022, and subsequently earned an M.A. in Mathematics in 2023 and an M.S. in Computer Science in 2024 from UW–Madison. His research focuses on trustworthy AI in transportation systems and telematics data.
